How to activate your eSIM
Follow the simple steps below to activate your eSIM. Choose your phone's operating system — Android or iPhone (iOS) — to see the right instructions.
Before you start, make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
-
Install the eSIM on your phone
Open your order details and tap the "Android (10+)" button to install the eSIM directly from your phone. If you're installing from another device, scan the QR code shown with your phone's camera.
-
Confirm adding the eSIM
When the "Setup your eSIM" window appears, tap "Setup", then "Add" to connect your phone to the network. Optionally rename the SIM and eSIM profiles so they're easy to tell apart, then tap "Next".
-
Set the eSIM for mobile data
For "Preferred SIM for calls/messages", keep your home SIM card. For "Preferred SIM for mobile data", choose eSIM. Turn off "Data Switching and backup calling" so your phone uses data through the eSIM only, then tap "Done".
-
Turn on roaming for the eSIM
Go to "Connections › Mobile networks" and turn on "Data roaming eSIM". Leave the other settings as shown — your eSIM is now ready to use.
-
Install the eSIM on your iPhone
In your order details, tap the "iOS (17.4+)" button to install the eSIM directly on your iPhone, or scan the QR code with the camera on another device.
-
Activate the eSIM
When "Activate Your eSIM" appears, tap "Activate". On the next screen tap "Continue", then "Done" once you see the "Mobile Plan Setup Complete" message.
-
Choose the eSIM for mobile data
Open "Mobile Service › Mobile Data" and select your new plan (e.g. "Travel"). Turn off "Allow Mobile Data Switching" so your phone uses data through the eSIM only.
-
Turn on Data Roaming
In the eSIM line's settings ("Travel"), turn on "Data Roaming". Your iPhone is now ready to use the internet while roaming.
Having trouble connecting? If your data stops working or your eSIM won't connect, turn Airplane mode on, wait about 10 seconds, then turn it off. This forces your phone to search for and reconnect to the network, and it fixes most connection issues — please try this before contacting support.
